Hi-Tech Brings Families Together
Technology is helping families stay in touch like never before, says a report carried out in the US.
Instead of driving people apart, mobile phones and the Internet are A ______. The research looked at the differences in technology use between families with children and single adults. It found that traditional families have more hi-tech gadgets in their home В ______. Several mobile phones were found in 89% of families and 66% had a high-speed Internet connection. Подсказки — как подойти к решению
- Пропуски восстанавливаются по сравнениям и логике абзаца. Прочитай текст целиком и подпиши рядом с каждым абзацем его тему: общение, количество техники, телевизор.
- Ищи грамматические подсказки у пропуска: слова more, than, форму are + ing и запятые вокруг вставной конструкции. Они прямо указывают, какая форма нужна на месте пропуска.
- Не выбирай часть только из-за знакомого слова: проверь, согласуется ли она с числом и временем. Подставь фрагмент и перечитай предложение — оно должно звучать естественно.

Типичные ошибки
- Часть выбрана по знакомому слову, но не согласуется с окружением пропуска. Сверяй выбранный фрагмент с формой и смыслом соседних слов.
- Лишняя часть заняла место нужной, и в таблице появился повтор. Отметь отдельно, какие части остались неиспользованными, — их должно быть ровно шесть.
